If waypoint means a viapoint, it can easily be done in the planner. Add viapoints (blue rectangle icon) and add a (local language) name. 

If a nearby the track free located (poi) waypoint is meant, add a (local) name.  Use the poi warning function.

Schnelles Fahrrad oder Tourenrad oder MTB.  Die Cruiser-Entwicklung und -Optimierungen betreffen jedoch hauptsächlich die Streckenführung für Motorradfahrer.  Für Radfahrer bietet Locus map jetzt noch mehr Extras mittels Anzeige von Abzweigungen & display on off und Abbiegevorgängen mittels tones funktionen an.

Die Benutzerfreundlichkeit von Google Maps als auch von Komoot ist vorbildlich.
Das Anhängen von Anweisungen (online) an Tracks ist nicht einfach, aber Komoot macht das ganz gut.
Ein Locus-Router fügt die Anweisungen zusammen mit dem Track selbst ein. So können Sie immer mit 100%iger Genauigkeit offline mit oder selbst ohne karte navigieren.
Sowohl BRouter(web) als auch die Benutzerfreundlichkeit von Locus könnten optimiert werden, werden aber wird nicht angesprochen.
Die zahlreichen komplexen Einstellungen dürften so manchen Einsteiger schnell zum Ausstieg bewegen.

Sie müssen aus mehreren App-Exportformaten mit oder ohne beigefügte Anleitung wählen und dann bestätigen.
Für Locus hat man zwei Möglichkeiten, wobei der einfachste Export fälschlicherweise als veraltete Cloud-Schaltfläche versteckt ist.

Locus Karte.
Bei einem Locus-Track mit Wegpunkten MÜSSEN Sie diese zwingend mit dem Track zusammenführen.
Eine ungewohnte Methode für neue Benutzer und der Hauptgrund für Misserfolge.

Wie die Benutzerfreundlichkeit optimieren?

BRouter-Web-Export -> Locus/Cruiser-Import.

Export über den Cloud-Button standardmäßig als Locus gpx navigationstrack.
Eine vorgefertigte gpx-Datei für Import in Locus-map und Cruiser gps app.
Importieren und navigieren Sie 100 % originalgetreu, genau wie geplant.
Eine Locus-Dateientwicklung, die in Cruiser noch optimaler genutzt wird.

Hören Sie besser zu, was ich so sage 
Dann nutzen Sie trotzdem doch die Cloud-Schaltfläche. Das ist das einfachste und funktioniert am besten.
Wenn Sie mit waypoints arbeiten, hält dieser verdammte Locus noch eine extra Überraschung für Sie bereit. Sie müssen dann beim Importieren auswählen, dass der Wegpunkt mit dem Track zusammengeführt (merge) werden soll. Eine weitere wenig elegante Methode, die, wie ich sage, viel freundlicher funktionieren kann.
Sie müssen  dan auch nichts zusammenführen und können es auch niemals dan vergessen mittels diese "deprecated" mode. (noch so eine dumme anweisung).

Und schließlich teilen Sie beser immer Ihren GPX-Track als Anhang hier im Forum, so kan man viel einfacher überprüfen, was möglicherweise noch schief läuft. Ich sage dumm, weil es genau die letzte und neueste hinzugefügte Methode ist, die hier enthalten ist. Die veraltete Bezeichnung ist wahrscheinlich ein Überbleibsel einer früheren Entscheidung, die letztendlich nicht entfernt wurde. Da ist es natürlich nicht verwunderlich, dass Nutzer das alles völlig komplex und überkompliziert finden. Mehr zum weiteren Thema (Bruter-App oder Lorouter-Nutzung) später. Oder jemand anderes übernimmt und ergänzt.

The necessary measures.
BRouter (Bikerouter) Web.
Select Customise profile > turninstructionMode > Set locus style > Apply.
Once your design is ready:
BRouter (bikerouter) web.
Export > GPX > Download via the cloud button between Close and Export route.
Locus map.
Import this gpx file into Locus.

This does not work properly as the komoot export gpx track does not contain navigation instructions.
Thus Locus will only generate turn directions based onto the track shape

Your trajectory is quite simple that will work.
Anyway I don't use Locus auto recalculation.

I haven't invested time into why some are wrong but think it more likely when very short distances between some turns. I have a test route where I could note the details for objective testing.

I cannot confirm this. I hardly have anything like this before.

Tap the imported navigation track display > Tap the track pop up info > Select Chart > Tap Left bottom Icon > Settings > Advanced settings > Select "Show waypoints" > SET.  Done. = The VIA point Icons (as set) are shown onto the elevation graph.

You presumably mean the announcement of a Via Point ? 
You can add via points using the route planner.
You can assign a free name to each via point.
A via name is announced just like turns by TTS.

The Webplanner.
The result by 5.5 kmh is more realistic.
Optimal is to be able set custom speed.
And a gpx export inclusive timestamps.

Yes I think so. The speed belonging to the applied timestamps do seem to be very far from reality. It is a mystery how Locus manages this.

A proprietary kmz extension allows Locus to transfer files.
I do suspect this is not usable for Google Earth imports.
Anyway some Locus users are probably more experienced using kmz.
Or the Locus developer may be able to inform you better.

Next is still not an official format but allows file transfers.
File transfers by gpx/gpz, on the other hand, is even quite easy.
Locus imports these gpz files but does not (yet) generate them.
The attached gpz import in Locus shows photos and doc and pdf. 
Open the attachments by selecting the appropriate associated apps.
This gpz file construction was produced by a manual edit.

No other route planner generates time stamps.

Well, some other do, by means of a configurable avg speed set up.
A correctly timestamped track can so be quite informative.
In attachment a simple timestamped track.  Avg speed set: 4 kmh.
According to the route planner, you need 1h32' to walk from the train station to my local pub.
The terrain is flat and simple so the timestamps calculated by avg speed are representative.

Also the Plotaroute web planner adds reference timestamps in track points.
The Plotaroute web planner seems to be very optimised for ETA calculations.

I did not try all this, anyway those interested can give it a try anyway.
Gpx downloads by Plotaroute can add Locus compatible navigation hints (if set).
