problem is definitely not in gpx-file, opening it from sd card do the job always.

Hi Frank,

good point to wrote here. Some month ago I noticed this issue and since there I saved the attachments first and imorted them with Locus (not very often!).
But this is only a workaround.

Hi Eddie,

for this purpose it's better to look for caches around the cross in the middle of the map screen. With this function you can import caches within a given radius and/or number of caches.

Hallo Zusammen,

Ich kann ja aus Locus heraus meine Position auf verschiedenen Wegen versenden, z.B. als SMS, habe aber als Empfänger noch keinen Weg gefunden, diese Koordinaten direkt in Locus zu importieren.

hast du schon mal das altmodische Copy n' Paste probiert? Klappt bei mir ganz gut, wenn ich einen neuen Wegpunkt erzeuge und die Koordinaten bearbeite. Dort gibt es die Option, Daten aus der Zwischenablage einzufügen.

Hast du eventuell die Punkte from, to, via1 - viax bereits vorher in Locus erstellt und abgespeichert? Bei meiner Arbeitsweise werden diese adhoc bei der Punkteauswahl in Locus temporär erzeugt und sind nach der Berechnung und Speicherung der Route wieder gelöscht.
Die via-Punkte werden durch fortgesetzte Punktauswahl ebenfalls temporär erzeugt. Theoretisch liese sich damit sogar ein gemischtes Routing, z.B. zuerst mit dem Rad und dann zu Fuß, in einer Route zusammenfassen.

Möglicherweise liegt hier ein kleines Missverständnis über die Arbeitsweise mit Locus und Brouter vor. Auch in den neuesten Versionen beider Programme funktioniert das bei mir so:

1) Brouter nach Installation starten, Routingprofil auswählen, Servermode einstellen und zum Schluss und letztlich die Servicemodi auswählen die ich brauche. Sollte ich später andere Einstellungen brauchen, starte ich Brouter eben nochmal und ändere nach Wunsch.

2) Locus starten, Routingwerkzeug auswählen, Startpunkt auswählen, autom. Routing aktivieren mit Auswahl des gewünschten Profils und nach Auswahl des zweiten und weiterer Punkte erfolgt Berechnung und Anzeige der Route in Locus.

Das funktioniert jedoch nur für die in Brouter voreingestellten Profile. Bei mir ist standardmäßig trekking und bicycle eingestellt. Möchte ich ausnahmsweise mal fürs Auto routen, stelle ich wie oben beschrieben um.

This QR-code function isn't related to coordinates. Maybe it could be an additional feature in an separated app? Otherwise Locus becomes bigger and bigger.

Ahh, I see! It's not the format of  the file, it's the content. If there are points in it, Locus  could import them. It isn't so simple I thought.

thanks for your explanations. The import command near by map items like *.kmz is without real function, it's only to switch on this specific item. This point was a little bit confusing for me.
For others like *.gpx we see expanded import dialog with dialog for import to database.

Just I created some kmz maps and I can import them with data/ items.
What's the difference between "only display" and "show on map after import". Some items are visible after restart of Locus others aren't visible, neither there are imported nor only showed.

EDIT: on second side, sometimes you define for example target point for any feature by coordinates and later you want to use same point for anything different. Should this happen? I think yes ... how ofter? hmm

Yes, I define points with coordinates often because Locus is a map app.
But when I need a second point with same coords mostly it have to be in another category and I can copy the first point. For second point in same category normally I copy 'n past the coords with clipboard.

In summary imho you can remove coords from list.

I think so, too. But maybe a system task running in background (=Locus) need a little bit more energy than track recording. But this is a question for the developers.

Die Adresssuche geht nur online! Offline hast du in den Locus-POIs gesucht, das sind von dir angelegte Wegpunkte. Wenn da keiner mit dem Text "Zugspitze" vorhanden ist, dann gibt es auch nichts zu finden.
