I just tried the new ov2 (TomTom POI) import function, but I could not get it working. Might be that I tried a wired ov2 file...
I tried some files from http://www.pocketnavigation.de/ (http://www.pocketnavigation.de/) like the Aral petrol station file which can be found here: http://www.pocketnavigation.de/pois/aral/ (http://www.pocketnavigation.de/pois/aral/)
I can open that file using http://www.poieditor.com/ (http://www.poieditor.com/) looks strange because of a wrong codepage, but its seems to work.
any hints ??
hi,
even with translation, I'm not able to download any file from there. May you please upload here one ov2 file that do not work? Thanks
Ok, here you come, thanks for trying anyway...
Just in case, more of that crappy files, these are downloadable. This Poi site is sometime horrible...
https://www.pocketnavigation.de/poidown ... tion-step4 (https://www.pocketnavigation.de/poidownload/pocketnavigation/de/?device-format-id=2&country=DE&poi-group-id=2#selection-step4)
ah perfect. problem fixed. I was testing OV2 files only from http://www.poiplaza.com/ (http://www.poiplaza.com/) and they worked correctly. Unfortunately you'll have to wait till next version which till take some time. If you'll need to use these files sooner, let me know and I'll create special version for you
Thanks for your quick help. Well as those import are new to Locus I think I can still wait until next release will be officially out.
I was looking for this feature too!
@tombert - should work with http://www.poiplaza.com/ (http://www.poiplaza.com/) files.
@muellmaen - works in next version
