Title: Quick Point Names
Post by: Hedaja on September 21, 2012, 14:05:11
Hello,
I've created a few quick points for hydrants with different diameters.
The Problem is that only the Symbole is displayed on the map and I can't find out what diameter it is. Even in the point informations the name isn't displayed.

Does someone have an idea? Is there an option to display the names on the map?

thanks
Christian

i don't know exactly what you need, but maybe i can help you a little bit:

see a democlip -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/jrgmosrce1xad ... 1_xvid.avi (https://www.dropbox.com/s/jrgmosrce1xadgv/20120921_1635_51_xvid.avi)

btw, (i think) there is a bug if you need to edit Quickpoints. :roll:

labes should be always visible?

and you can see how the settings works...

Thanks so far.
Your video is good and I'm going to do it this way in the future. All my points are named points... because I thought I would see the name of the definition.

Seems like I have to do these hydrants again.

Just quick info - as you discover, name of definition is only for your own orientation in list of definitions. All other main functionality you already probably know or is well explained in gynta's video
