When you add a route to OSM, it is not immediately available on the map. But BRouter has the data a day later. The LoRouter (BRouter) makes an update every 7 (4) days. I think you can also add the data manually.
About routing: You can trace the route in the route planner and all parts where there is a path are automatically routed. If there are areas where there is no path, then you add a manual segment. Quick changeover: press and hold Routing profile.
Turn-by-turn directions are not yet possible. I change the shaping point before the manual segment to a via as a turn-off hint. You can also name the via Attention, so that it indicates the area you want to look at in particular. The name of the via is announced during navigation.

For more than 100 km, decimal places are no longer needed. This is a waste of space. I am against adapting this.

Quote from: Pcmann on May 06, 2024, 13:49:44Hello,
after some of the recent updates, when I turn on the Locus GC "live" map, an orange window appears with the text and error codes Unfortunately, the live map does not work now. Reinstalling Locus didn't help.

Quote from: Andrew Heard on May 02, 2024, 23:41:33or... slope could be the coloring for the route outline (along sides), with transparent middle so that style of road is still visible/ not obscured?
That is too far removed from the original. Would fit into the custom line. But it has a few disadvantages compared to the original.
Original in the middle the slope (as wide as the arrows). The area where it is already worn down could remain as it is.

I would also like to see the road condition on the map from time to time. But due to the many colors, the demarcation of the line to the map is missing.

Quote from: Menion on April 30, 2024, 16:17:53– endlich funktionierte die Umrissfarbe für Tracks

That is very nice.
Then you could add an option to the navigation line so that the gradient is also displayed in the middle.
The pink on the left and right and the gradient in the middle.
It's very useful on the road. That way I can see how long the steep incline will last. Or I can see when a steep section is coming up.

Troubles & Questions / Re: android 13 no access

Quote from: lor74cas on March 29, 2024, 12:44:38Hi,
You could contribute by adding the information to openstreetmap. It will take some time but sooner or later it will be implemented and the transition will occur normally.
In the meantime, you would like Locus to insert a sort of bypass between two points that are not currently connected, temporarily until the grid is definitively updated. In this way not only the recalculation but also future planning would take the change into account.
It could be an interesting feature, but I don't know how many would be interested in it. But in my experience of use I have often found myself in similar situations having to edit the line manually each time.
If there is a path there, I add it to OSM immediately after the tour.
But if there is no path there and I still want to go there. Then everything is gone after the recalculation. It would also be helpful if a turn-off hint was automatically generated for a manual segment. But we have already discussed this in another topic. Menion knows about this and said that it is possible.
