Is it feasible to have many SQLite databases in a single menu item?

As part of my routine, I create a small number of sqlitedb files to store location data for my maps. However, as is typical, I get a plethora of records in the menu for each file when I use the map switch to choose maps for work inside this location's coverage region. Can I choose the offline maps option in the menu and have all the files for the specified coverage area combined into one record? When the specified coverage area is large, compiling a single file for it might be a daunting and time-consuming task. There is no way that any of the map pieces could ever cross over; they are all tightly tied in his bound. Can you provide me any advice on how to do this task?

what exactly contains your sqlite map files and also where you place then in the app directory structure?
