A new feature in 2.5 is "add: basic support for GetFeatureInfo for WMS maps"
Where can I find/access this basic support? this feature would be great for us!

Hello Tim,
there is completed only first part of this task. It only download and show GetFeatureInfo content in small window. There is need for some formating etc .. anyway, you may try this feature if you'll follow these steps
1. enable WMS layer
2. go to map, long-click anywhere and tap on address
3. in Point dialog, choose last bottom icon and if WMS layer support GetFeatureInfo, there should be button ;)

But then i get the message
QuoteQUERY_LAYERS contains layers not cited in LAYERS. It should be a proper subset of those instead

as I wrote, don't expect nice results. There is still quite a lot of work to do ... anyway In your case, seems that server cannot handle request for GetFeatureInfo on all selected layers. Did you tried disable some of them? Or check one by one ...
