Hi menion,
I like the grouping and folders in track manager. And i would suggest to introduce an icon or a small mark / different icon for the group when the group is closed but a track is activated.
That can be i.e. an small red triangle on the group icon or something easy like this.
Would be nice to avoid mistakes when more tracks are loaded...

I was just trying to improve it, but even if this looks on first sight as a simple task, it's unfortunately quite complex. I play to improve list of points and tracks so then it will be a good time to improve this also (I for sure agree with this idea).
Anyway I suggest to place new ideas to this place http://help.locusmap.eu/ to keep them on one place. Maybe there will be bigger interest in this, so I'll do it sooner

Sorry for these changes. I'm kind of person, who wants to have things perfect. And even after years, I was not satisfied with existing solutions. Result is this searching for "best tools". I believe this will be final.
