Title: [Solved] How to reover lost data?
Post by: jko on May 21, 2012, 14:35:31
I accidentally deleted a track which I recorded previously. Now I noticed, that there is a folder "Locus/backup/auto" on the sd-card which has sereval .zip files with a sqlite db called tracks inside.

I can browse the sqlite db and see all the data ect. but when I try to import this in Locus, nothing happens.

What I am doing wrong? How can I recover this track?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
for this you have to use "Backup manager" feature (in list of functions). Here is description http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manual:backup_manager (http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manual:backup_manager) . Suggest to firstly backup current track database because restoring backup will overwrite it

That's what I've been missing! Thanks a lot - I've recovered my track.

Hi I got the same problem too and I solved that too.
I have to say Locus is the best Android app again!
It includes every functions before you really need it!

perfect. Seems that backup feature may be useful. Enjoy Locus, it's still actively developed so improvements will come ;)
