Hi to all,
since yesterday, I decided to use as primary communication canal, new support forum on http://www.getsatisfaction.com (http://www.getsatisfaction.com) web page,
so please, all new (or already existing, but not yet solved)
- issues
- wishes and ideas
- questions
forward to http://www.getsatisfaction.com/locus (//http://www.getsatisfaction.com/locus)
all more specific discussion, sharing of data or others, keep on current forum.asamm.cz site!
I really hope, that new system bring much better error reporting, controlling if your ideas/issues are already solved and for me mainly, better feedback on what should have higher priority!
Is it possible to connect the new forum to Tapatalk? And how?

unfortunately not. If you prefer communication over tapatalk, you may just use this "old" forum. I was already looking, if they have some native application for android, but seems they have only app for iPhone ... maybe later
so no problem, discussion here isn't ending ;)
I also very much prefer Tapatalk for discussion or a native app..

I am unlikely to visit anther site on a regular basis. I like the current forum because I have an RSS feed and Tapatalk so can easily monitor developments.

as I wrote ... there is no problem with using this forum for some feedback, anyway expect that GetSatisfaction is "main" place for some public discussion - or at least more preferred for basic and new users
Locus behaves quite strange with a rmap I just created. It displays OK at first, waypoints and tracks are correctly placed. However, as soon as I start moving the map, the waypoints & tracks sort of "travel across". They do not stay where they belong but instead "move downward" on the map a little. The more I scroll, the more they are misplaced.
When I switch zoomlevels, all positions are fine again. But as soon as I start scrolling, waypoints travel off.
I suspect Locus might have problems with
a) maps close to the equator or
b) maps spanning the 0 degree lattitude boundary

probably wrong forum anyway as usually .. some small sample map for testing? :)
oops... forum messup indeed. anyway, problem only shows with larger maps it seems. the smaller the map, the less wandering around. could be some kind of floating point / int rounding error for the waypoint positions when maps are scrolled. it adds up over time and is reset when i change zoom levels.
anyway, i'll upload a testmap. check your email for the link in 3 hours :).
perfect thanks
so topic closed. GetSatisfaction is already running and seems to be really good choice. At least for me. Thanks for your opinions!
