Offline Maps on External SD Card

Postby RKBB » Thu May 17, 2012 5:18 pm

Hello,

Is there a way to store offline maps on external SD card?
Is there a path option in the setting menu that I may have missed?
Thanks.

Sorry, I should have clarified my intention.
I'm trying to move the offline maps that is currently
stored in the internal memory of my device under
Locus/maps to save internal space. I tried to cut
and paste but there's an error saying that I can not
move it to the directory specified in the external SD card.
Thanks for your help.

Ok, got it. Being new to android (only bought my device 1.5 months ago),
I did not realized that the apps has to be completely shutdown (forced closed?).
Apparently it was still running in the background, that is why my file manager
said the function cannot be completed. I shut down the device then use my file
manager to move the downloaded maps to external SD before initiating Locus
again, and that solves it. Thanks again for all the replies. A great apps and a lot
of friendly help from this forum.
