Offline POI database

Hi menion,
OK I wasn't aware that the Locus Store maps include POI's - I guess that's why they're called "LoMaps & Addresses", but I didn't figure it out. Thanks for the clarification, I'll look into it!

Menion, are you working on the POI system? I think the current state is something that can be improved. E.g., loading 100 by 100 is not perfec and rather clunkyt, also loading POIs in a radius around the center is not perfect, while POIs along a track are of interest... Hey, Locus could, as a track option, auto load POIs in a radius around the track... Probably a can of worms :D Are POIs your unloved child ;)?

I still don't understand how I can access or download that POI database

Where is the menu item to show POIs that are near my current position?
I only have an online search and a search for addresses (in the LoMaps).
