update - read first:
Locus released his own onboard Live tracking feature now

Alternatively(!), you can use my private service:

1. Send me a PM* with a nickname and you will receive a userID in my answer.
(If you are not allowed to send PM, tell me your interest here in this thread and i will contact you)

2. Setup  Locus Pro: http://locus.oldboys.at/help.htm

3. Start Live tracking to send some points to the server.
    - don't forget to allow mobile data transfer on your phone.
    - be sure you have an GPS SATfix
    - Locus does not send data, if the GPS position is not changed.

4. Login on http://locus.oldboys.at with your nick and userID and see your position/track...

Hi Al,
welcome in this forum.
No, the problem is that users with very few posts are expected to participate more before they are allowed to PM

Yes, but I'am saying about any user, registered or not. Is the way to see my location for anybody if I publish a link in my blog for example? Now one have to log in with my credentials anyway. :(

A "light version" is a good idea.
A viewing page without any functions.
And if you have allowed in your settings other people can you see in...
..ah russia :)

i will create this in the next update...

Yes that would be helpful, especially when your friend, family or whoever uses a smartphone!
