[Theme] Volatile (outdated)
« on: April 30, 2012, 10:13:37 »
Hello,

Inspired by some users of this forum, I changed my older attempts a bit to the "Volatile"-theme.

What I did:
1. deleted the slopes
2. added contour lines, Volatile theme works with all maps, but contour lines are only shown with jurajs "contour" maps (viewtopic.php?f=43&t=1839 )
3. added refs to higher prioritized streets (motorways trunks primary)
4. changed color of wood and military *.pngs
5. changed color fof leisures and buildings
6. made paths, tracks, cycleways (blue) more visible for hikers and bikers.

(Volatile = not for eternity) feel free to use and change it.

Klick on screen for better preview:[attachment=1:3hbrb29x]Volatile.png[/attachment:3hbrb29x]

@menion,
feel free to add it to Locus shop. (BTW the themes in Locus shop are a bit hidden in "Graphics" on the bottom)

I´m not sure if i understand right:
I commpared your osmarender_terrain.xml (v1) with osmarender_terrain.xml (v2) and see the "brownish change" to #608000(00).

But how works the transparency?

Looks really nice. Here a screenshot from austria with contourlines and hillshade as overlay.

Can I ask how you enabled that hill shading overlay in Locus? I really like it. Like having Google terrain maps but better!
