Profiles for settings
« on: November 02, 2011, 13:02:54 »
It would be great to have the ability to have profiles for settings and have that easily switchable. For example, I have different settings when hiking (things to save battery) and driving (while plugged in).

"this is already there". In settings > Miscellaneous > Global is possibility to save whole application settings (or restore) ... but truth is that changing this settings is little bit "unfriendly"

Perhaps a button in the right panel to allow quick access to restore settings?

(by the way, this app is fantastic. seriously fantastic.)

and what about using backup manager .. did your tried this? Maybe storing settings by this will be faster. Anyway count that after restoring preferences, restart of application is really needed, so whole process take some time

(and glad you like - it's fantastic mainly thanks to perfect and very helpful community that is around locus)
