The Cycling trip profile has the Steps allowed parameter. This should also be added for MTB.
I would add a slider here with 4 settings.
1. steps (stairs) not allowed
2. few steps (short steps) allowed
3. steps (stairs) downhill allowed
4. steps (stairs) uphill allowed

I would choose anything with less than 3 or 4 steps as short steps or few steps. If this is not specified in OSM, then less than 1.2 meters.
If a segment is actively selected or there is no other option, the router should still route this route and a warning Stairs is issued.
I would generally issue the Stairs warning even if Stairs allowed is selected.

Locus Map / Re: [APP] - version 4.19.+ ( 9/2023 )

Perhaps deleting LoProfiles is a problem, as otherwise they can no longer be restored? Then another option would be to hide the profiles.
However, it would be possible to restore them if LoProfiles and own profiles are offered when selecting the profiles. At the moment only own profiles are offered there.

I find the categories practical. I have 2 main activities. Cycling and hiking. So I can have different cycling profiles and they are all in one category.
But I don't need the other categories. Maybe it makes sense to delete or add some?
Also deleting unneeded profiles would be helpful. There are people who have their own profiles and lose clarity because the LoProfiles are also displayed, but they don't need them. I use the LoProfiles myself.
Edit: Something else I noticed. The category "Other" does not appear at all when creating a new one.

With my old Samsung S8 Android 9:
Map Content Panel cannot be opened. It works with the previous version.

I will test something over the next few days.
Thank you
Working on the app is more important than being here in the forum all the time. There are enough people who can help. And if there is an urgent problem, there is always the helpdesk. They have a direct line to you.

These may be settings in the map theme. There under Layers.

Suggestions are best made here. Then others can vote for them and the implementation will not be forgotten.

I added the external profile "River" from Brouter Offline and see it in the LoRouter Offline settings.
But unfortunately, in "active profiles" you cannot add your own profile, for example with a "boat" icon or something like that. Therefore, we had to take a "motorcycle" and give it a "river" profile.

Maybe there is a way to set the correct icon for your external navigator profile?

You cannot view this attachment.
Unfortunately, this is not yet possible. But there is already a proposal and you can vote for it.

Maps / Re: Remove layer tag from LoMaps?
November 01, 2023, 18:14:56
I don't know much about this. But I have also often read about the limit of 15 tags at OAM.
Maybe several parties would have to write to Mapsforge to extend this limit to 18 or 20 tags.

Quote from: Menion on October 30, 2023, 09:43:23I know @Tapio , sorry for this. It is my unfinished work ...

"Auto-pause" ... new more robust system based on the "Google Activity recognition" system. It detects if the device is moving or not based on the accelerometer and some other sensors, but not the GPS!! Thanks to this, app may really pause-unpause track recording. This allows app to for example pause recording when you are having a break and this pause GPS as well!

"Record only when moving" ... GPS is running all the time and the app only checks if the current speed is above 0.25m/s. If not, the location is simply discreet. So this may reduce some unwanted "locations", but does not save energy etc.

---

Unfortunately, I'm still not satisfied with "Auto-pause" reliability so it ended in this weird state ...
Perhaps a combination of sensor and GPS. As far as I can remember the reactivation was the problem. If the sensor registers something is additionally checked again with the GPS. Maybe also every 30s a check with the GPS while pausing. Is better from the ACCU better than constantly GPS.

There were problems with LoPoi in maps. Therefore all karen are regenerated. Possibly also newest OSM data are used here.
Just download again in a few days.
Otherwise, every 3 months an update is made.

It will be included in the next map update. It is best to find out which user has removed it briefly. Write to him and point out what it had for consequences.

It says backup, delete, backup back. Best to write there and ask.

There a new registration is necessary. But you can use the same data.
