Thing is, there's many photo folders, so what I would have to do is going to a photo app, find folder,...

@tapio this is just a naïve suggestion, I use an app called F-Stop; with just 2 taps all the photos from all Android folders are visible in one screen. Probably other "photo apps" are the similar.

@menion - is there a problem with the Help system? When I add a new topic https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/add there is no Submit button so I can't save the topic. It has only been like this for max 2 weeks since I last added a help topic. I was trying to add a new topic about the RSS feed links no longer working - click the link results in error EXCEPTION_ Class 'Forums_Service_Forums' not foundException on line 15 in file etc..

I hadn't noticed until now, but the help desk RSS feeds may have been broken for last 7 months according to my news aggregator Feedly. To reproduce: from web browser > Locus Map help desk main page https://help.locusmap.eu > click on any of 3 RSS feed icons (Questions | Ideas | Problems) > error page with exception & stack trace (attached).

I had (have?) an unrelated issue where Locus got confused which online or offline map to use. Yesterday I was experimenting with the new online satellite map - very nice. But then I switched back to usual offline LoMap & OAM maps. When I zoomed out past approx. ZL12 ie. ZL11 or lower, with Wifi disabled, the offline map could no longer be displayed, as I think it was partially trying to still access online data - each tile displayed "connection failed". It was impossible to fix without rebooting, and I can no longer reproduce.

cache online maps: on
cached maps only: off
auto map loading: auto-load

The new LoSatMaps are brilliant in our area - thank you Locus!

Could someone please explain how to use the new "[GOLD] World wide satellite maps"? I tried a search of "sate" from map manager but the 2 results don't appear relevant - see attached screen caps.

Are there any topics to vote/ support regards saving shaping points in GPX files. It's crazy that these valuable points are lost during export.

I notice in the latest beta a change in bottom menu when a track recording is stopped. Now the 4-button bottom menu no longer contains the dot-dot-dot menu on the right hand side - 1st screen capture. So after stopping it is no longer possible to directly export or hide the track. Now instead after stopping, the visible track must be tapped, and a slightly different 5-button bottom menu is displayed (the original bottom menu?) - 2nd screen capture, which does still have the dot-dot-dot menu on the right hand side.

Also note other inconsistencies - only the 2nd menu has the "i" button.

Please add back the dot-dot-dot menu.

FWIW with LM4 on Android 8, I long+tap on 1st GPX to import, then the whole list has checkboxes on right side where I can select any/ all for import.

Slightly off-topic sorry, but is separate BRouter app needed any more if all routing is performed with LM4Gold? Can I safely uninstall BRouter?

also I guess - to force a manual update/ download from BRouter server if LM is not working correctly

@tapio - can you please explain the underlying purpose of your script, now that LM has BRouter built-in with behind-the-scenes handling of .RD5 files, the average user (like me) no longer needs to be aware of their existence? Note to myself - .RD5 files are stored in Locus/router/segments4 directory.

It took me a little while to remember how to use custom cursors, so I thought I'd write this:
copy Karl's ZIP file (the file name doesn't matter) to Locus/icons/cursors directory, then from LM settings > Controlling > Map screen > Map cursors > select the new ZIP file > enjoy!

OK, then I can't explain why the ZIP theme wasn't working. Maybe the log will help.

@menion - did anything else in 4.5.6.1_1055 change related to my reported issue (can't' select theme, green error msg)? Because I can't reproduce the issue now ;-( One thing I do still see, which may be related, is with Map Manager > select map > Map Manager > previous map details are still displayed instead of the selected map.

to reproduce: lets say I have 3 vector maps for same region: Locus, OAM4, OAM5, with OAM4 currently selected.

• Map Manager > select Locus > return to main screen with Locus map
• Map Manager > observe OAM4 details are still displayed?
• Locus dot-dot-dot > Details > select Locus > return to main screen with Locus map
• Map Manager > observe Locus details are now displayed

When opening Map Manager, shouldn't the details for the currently selected map be displayed? Is it possible I previously experienced situation where Locus tries to use theme of non-existent map - green message "No map with theme is active"?
