Settings -> Navigation -> Compute source -> change the source to CloudeMade or Yours -> the MapQuestsettings should get disabled.
(because only MapQuest supports MapQuest Settings)
This only happens if you leave the navigation menu once.

Same if we change (eg from Yours) to MapQuest
- MapQuest settings remain locked, until you leave - and enter the navigation menu again.

yes I know about it, android have some problems when some settings are in different sub-category.

  unfortunately there is no other way to get same maps that are in Locus, by other method then by in-app billing. Anyway if you'll look here on forum, you may find similar vector maps generated by any users that can be directly downloaded and placed to Locus/mapsVector directory

  other ways to add credit to your account then just by in-app billing are planned, but it will take some time

všechny styly co se stahují z Locus Shopu se ukládají do Locus/mapsVector/_themes (nebo tak něco) takže doporučuju stáhnout a podívat se na ně. Je to relativně jednoduché XMLko kde se přesně definuje jaký tag se jak vykreslí

krokodýle a micska, jak toho docílím? Máte *.map soubory a tohle se děje jen při posunu z jednoho mapového listu do druhého? Ať dělám co dělám, nedaří se mi to nasimulovat

rozhodně je to chyba. Žádný krok zpět v plánu nebyl. Ty mapy jsou TARové a různě poházené v maps adresáři nebo jak to mám chápat?

  garmin IMG format is really not possible. Too much work on one person and I even don't know if it's legal to support it. Problem with huge number of KML files is simple. Locus need to retransform every spheric coordinates that are in KML files, into projection of current map. This takes quite a lot of CPU (this is applied during zooming). Then when you move with map, things that slow down whole moving is fact that I use software drawing on screen, not supported by hardware graphics card. So slow Locus with huge number of points is not about "making better support for huge number of points", but about "make support for OpenGL accelerated drawing on screen". When this will be done, this will work much better.

PS: did you tried to put KMZ files into Locus/mapItems directory and in Locus from Map manage > Items, load it? Should be faster then import to database

pokud používáš tu "auto gps off" featuru, pak je tam v nastavení i možnost "Keep enabled" (ponechat spuštěné), takže doporučuji odškrtnout a pak při zapnutí displeje se "auto gps-off" vypne. Nějaké speciální tlačítko na to bohužel dělat nebudu

problém ve využití overlay map je asi jasný. Mapy jiné než SQLite či GEMF můžou mít libovolnou mapovou projekci, takže aby mohla jedna mapa překrýt korektně druhou o jiné projekci, bylo by třeba ty mapy za běhu transformatovat, což se mi teda moc nechce. Proto některé mapy nejdou požít jako podkladové nebo pro overlay. Stejný případ bude i u SmartMap, které prostě pro tyhle účely (zatím) využít nepůjde

jinak OKMap vypadá velmi dobře, prozkoumám. Nicméně pokud umožňuje transformovat mapy do Oruxmaps formátu, je to asi lepší protože mapy v tom formátu není nutné přerastrovat jako to dělá mapc2mapc (pokud jsou v projekci který ten formát podporuje), což má velkou výhodu v zachování kvality mapy

jusc, try to zoom out a little. These maps are only for USA, so check it there. Their server return stupid response and Locus recognize it as a problem in communication. There should be response like "not exist" from their server but it isn't :/

but! I read somewhere that they would like to increase their maps to whole world, so hope they'll be success because I think that these maps are very nice ..

perfect as I wrote somewhere, not all projections may work correctly, so in case of problems, sample map is needed

did you tried to just put it into locus/maps directory? if will not work, I'll check it

Thanks for email. Seems you are using testing version. That's good because thanks to it, there is visible much more debug texts. Anyway still not idea why this happen to you. I'm currently uploading new version to Google Play, so check it. Probably there will be still same problem, so I'll create for you some debug version during next week for test

PS: one idea, may you please try to reset Locus settings? Should not have any influence, but just for sure
