Currently, the best and only working solution is indeed info.xml file inside the pack. You probably know how it should look like, but for the sake of clarity:

Update keší ... no umíte si představit co by bylo ideální řešení? Protože bohužel, apka neví časy editace waypointu na webu a teda ani lokální čas editace. Při změně, je tedy problém poznat jestli změna byla tvoje a nebo ownera. Bohužel, to samé budu řešit při updatu více keší najednou později.


Jinak "Adventure labky" přidány, uff. Alespoň se zobrazují na mapě s proklikem, který zachytí ofiko apka. Po pravdě, nikdy jsem je ještě nehrál, tak moc nevím co od podpory v apce očekávat. Veškeré geocaching funkce jsou pro ně vypnuté, takže i označení "Nalezená" není v podstatě možné. Hmm.

two places affect this behavior in the app.

First > global app settings you are probably checking. It is in the Settings > Points & tracks > Track label.

Second > is in the settings of the folder where the track belongs. Open "My library" > "Tracks" tab > and tap on the three-dot menu of the tracks parent folder.

you should still be able to access the app's private directory when connected to the PC.

If you need direct access to the device, probably the easiest solution with the latest Locus Map version is moving the whole app directory into the "Android/media" directory, which is more easily accessible by various 3rd party tools directly on the device.

This can be done in the app settings > Backup & filesystem > File system manager > Set the main directory

nice discussion, thanks for it. In the team were also votes that promoted merging "Plan route to" and "Navigate to" options into a single one. I still consider the current solution as more useful. Here are the key differences:

Navigate to
- automatically turn on GPS
- set start point to GPS
- set end point to selected point
- after computing the route, zoom out to display the route preview
- show a quick navigation button in the toolbar (in the next version, it will automatically start navigation).
- we are also thinking about an automatic 10-second timer > when the route is computed and you do not touch the screen for 10 seconds, navigation starts automatically. This should cover also the need for quick navigation

Plan route to
- set end point to selected point
- show a quick save button at the top

saving times to trackpoints was done in 06/2023. The main reason was to display the time-based chart for planned routes. Also in the case "Include nav. instructions" are disabled, these times are used for time estimates if I remember correctly.

Generally, is there any problem with timestamps stored within the trackpoints?

ETA during navigation ... I know it is not perfect and I really do not want to explain (again) full complex logic
behind this now. Anyway, it is not as easy as "distance / average speed". Computed time currently considers routing profile, surface, elevation etc. What should be improved, is automatic updating of this time by user performance during the ride. At least this. Anyway, I believe, that current times computed by the LoRouter should be quite usable without problematic values as before. If there is any non-sense, it is best to simulate the same issue on the web planner and report it.

cestu kam umístit HGT data lze nalézt v nastavení apky > Různé > Výchozí adresáře > Nastavit vlastní podadresáře > a dole je "Nastavit adresář data/srtm".

sorry for this. There was a minor issue in loading user profile stored in the app on some devices for users with active subscription. Re-loading of profile solved this issue, but I'm rather releasing new version with problem fixed.

sorry to read this. Loss of tracks can't be without a reason. Any change on your side, like a new device, or data on SD card, ?

Anyway, what do you mean by the "cannot import my tracks database"? Please describe in detail if you have a backup or any data stored out of the app directory.

I still can't entirely agree with the "Pick on the map" option in the selection dialog. Mainly because it will open another dialog with the map above the map planner. Does not make much sense to me, sorry.

Cross during init > well, it should not be a problem to tap on it. Usually, you should also see a blue loading screen. Not a big problem I believe, but yes, should be somehow blocked together with the hardware back press (just to be safe not to interrupt some main tasks during the start).

Sharing of user points > yes, it is planned. We now need a big switch to "Data manager V2". ETA? September 2024.

401 error > hmm, it is a 401 HTTP error so it looks like a temporary glitch on the Grounspeak side.

Vím o tom, ale bohužel teď pro mě šahání do aktuálního správce dat (bodů, tras) je dost obtížný. Celý systém je v procesu přepisu. Obávám se, že bude třeba počkat cca půl roku (čeká se na web a iOS) než budou mít podobnou implementaci. Do té doby by mohlo fungovat využití klasického vyhledání nových keší a uložení do stejné složky. Body by se měli updatovat. Raději zkuste na pár bodech, ale věřím, že to bude fungovat.

I have to say I do not fully agree with adding a "Pick on the map" option to selection dialog. It should be clear (also thanks to the hint), that user may tap directly on the map.
