@Bucky Kid Please see https://ci.appveyor.com/api/buildjobs/skx61j610842y80u/artifacts/osmium_Release_x64.zip

Issue https://github.com/osmcode/osmium-tool/issues/59 is opened. I don't test it (I use macOS).

> I am unable to compile from sources.

Process is not easy. That's why I created http://graphhopper.develar.org/ and any user can request any region to be added to avoid low-level things.

@develar
firstly, really nice work. I'm sure, many users appreciate it.

Just published version 0.7 of GH add-on.
Main change: using latest stable GH API 0.10

> generate single custom .pbf file based on own region in order to seamlessly cross the borders?

You can specify required for you countries and I will add specified region to https://graphhopper.develar.org

In general, you need to draw wanted region using http://geojson.io, download europe.pbf from some public  source (http://download.geofabrik.de/index.html),  and then

```
osmium extract --overwrite --config=extracts.json --strategy=smart europe-latest.osm.pbf
```

where extracts.json something like https://github.com/develar/gh-routing-data/blob/master/configs/extracts.json

and then build graph for result pbf file.

Since Locus is so awesome, I think it is not good that users need to do such low-level tasks to enjoy offline navigation, that's why I suggest you to file issue to https://github.com/develar/gh-routing-data/issues and I will add wanted region to provided list (main problem not first import, but keep it up to date).

So Strava online maps will never again work? I still can view their maps via web interface as anonymous user.

I didn't say that . We're working on it. And Locus isn't a web browser so there are different terms.

Oki guys, hopefully I understand.
Try new generated plugin ( https://github.com/asamm/locus-addon-graphhopper/releases/tag/0.5 ), with your latest routing data. Should work.

Themes - Vector maps / [Theme] TOTM (V3)
January 29, 2018, 16:09:50
Tiramisù as OpenTopoMap

No routes, only topography, better larger zoom.

for V3 maps

On the OAM maps, there are intermittent streams, embankment, ridges, cutlines, etc....

It is recommended to use with the "Hill shading" map is ON - that the similarity is maximized.

There was no purpose to do an exact copy, but to use the best features.

OpenTopoMap -> https://www.opentopomap.org

Update: ver1.8 (15/02/2018)
- again redrawn the forest, with transparency. Now it is correctly mixed with other fills and objects.
- added or changed: mountain_pass | saddle, natural = stone, tower: communication, volcano, turning_circle, man_made = adit | adit_disused, wells water_well, waterfall, summit: *, fixed reservoir | basin, redrawed bare_rock, completed the color of main roads
- the mapping of the mountainous terrain has been reworked,
- added a layer of "Winter routes", the display - slightly adjusted copy-paste from the built-in theme "Skiing"
adjusted visibility on different zoom levels amenity|waterway / natural = drinking_water|water_point|spring|fountain

Update: ver1.9.2 (15/01/2019)
landuse kindergarten, school...
contour path text rotate_up=false (always uphill")
selection of landuse hospital, residential, adjustment of overlays
slightly thicker contour lines
removed signatures on fence | wall | city_wall
added water sources zoom-min= " 13"
added barrier=turnstile (OAM), name=neighbourhood|quarter
and other things...

Big thanks to the author! The other icons I made by myself.

Copy the icons to:

Do NOT unzip them!

Sorry for my english! I did try my best ;-)

@bezel:
Understand, thanks for a screenshots. I'm closer to what Andrew wrote here . Idea is to keep this screen as clean and simple as possible. Second thing here is, that you probably noticed it ... chart at bottom of route planner and good old big chart looks different. It is because I'm experiencing with new library for charts and because of this, adding these floating labels is currently not so easy task, sorry.

@Bucky Kid:
thanks, log helped. Issue is because of links to external programs. Will be fixed in next version in Monday, thanks!

@Joachim Buhl:
what is exactly "route editor"? We are trying to use only "track editor" and "route planner". Anyway after longer thinking, I've decided to keep these two features with exactly defined purpose.

"Track editor" - post-editing tracks after recording. Main use case: correctly stored recorded track, because of statistics, because I want to have them correct.
"Route planner" - planning or modifying tracks/routes for later re-use, mainly for navigation purpose.

I should probably write this on more visible place, because it will affect future development a lot.

From above is clear, that work with navigation commands does not belong to Track editor, but to Route planner. Click in Route planner on track and in menu choose "Convert to navigation command".

@Andrew Heard:
hmm it should be a lot better ( and mainly logical ) to scale these points by settings > maps > points & tracks > map icons size. Thanks, done

@slarti76:
same issue as reported a while ago by Bucky Kid, sorry for this, will be fixed in next version. And "On-board calibrator" > well, I'm looking on this feature for some time and I'm aware it needs an improvements. Later ;)

Hello Bucky Kid,
maybe you noticed, that no other application used SmartMaps maps expect Locus & SmartMaps application. It was possible because I was creating this SmartMaps application in early Android days, so I have a friends in PLANStudio company. Because online version of their maps was created mainly as preview of offline maps, that are no more sold, I promised to P. Žemlík to remove also online maps since October. So sorry, they cannot be added back, even thanks to XML configuration.

Suggestion how to change the point shift on small screen phones. Click a point and select "move point" in the menu. Then click on another location and the point moves. This could work, especially in combination with the zoom option.

CZ: Návrh jak změnit posun bodu na malých obrazovkách telefonů. Kliknout na bod a v menu zvolit "přesunout bod". Pak kliknout na jiné místo a bod se přesune. To by mohlo fungovat, obzvlášť v kombinaci s možností zoomu.
