Fresh installation on new phone, UK locale, TTS language is set as Czech. Can you not use system settings?

Updated in the first post for Locus 3.38+ (new rendering engine).

Note if you have installed any of the interim versions of this theme, please uninstall and delete them by means of a long press in the Locus theme selector.

For me:
1. Rendering seems much faster
2. "Magnify all" works a treat!
3. Automatic map change works for vector maps for LoMaps/MF3/MF4. (That's testing moving from Wales to England.)

The bug is resolved in 3.38.3.

I still don't like the way "Magnify all maps" works. But I've also realised it doesn't respect the value in settings.
I can adjust the value to 150% in settings using the slider, but the map is actually magnified by 200%.

Animations still have problems and don't look all that good with semi transparent MFv4 maps as in https://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?topic=6579.msg55620.msg#55620

After update to 3.38.3, MFv4 maps work again. Phew.

...except this issue with semitransparent MF4 maps...

There's also a cosmetic issue with semi transparent MFv4 maps and the transition on changing zoom level. It shows up most clearly with woodlands on my Voluntary theme. The wood is shown with a semi transparent green fill. Changing zoom brings in the new layer with 0% transparency and then fades out to the correct level, so the wood transitions through a darker green flash.

Same for me.

@menion. Yes, I'm getting the expected difference now, but I had to restart the phone before Locus restarts made any difference.

@menion
Can't see any difference on either online or offline maps. What should I see?

Edit: I had to restart the phone to get this to work. Locus then changed its behaviour when this setting was changed from restarting in 5 seconds to restarting immediately on a tap, and the map resolution changed.

I don't understand why this should solve the problem. OSM maps like the one illustrated are online, surely?

I had the problem with instant crash too, but I following fixed it:
Rename the "locus"-folder on sd-card. Start locus. Select "ok" for a new Locus-folder. Exit Locus and delete the new locus-folder. Rename the old Locus folder back to "Locus".
I have no idea why, but it worked for me.

Works for me UNTIL I select V4 ML map. Now it crashes again.
Exactly the same for me on both Pro and Free 3.38.1.
Now both working until I select a MF V4 map.

@tapio
I've not implemented priorities with any consistency, certainly not different priorities for items according to the active style. I don't want to increase the size of the theme excessively and need to think about whether there are certain key items I should prioritise for different styles. I'm not sure if MF v5, which allows variables in themes, might help.
Forests are intentionally lighter (paler, whiter) than before to give better contrast to paths and tracks through them. As far as I can see, the transitions as you change zoom on MF v4+ are entirely due to Locus's attempt to implement a fade between zooms. With a MF v3 map and the equivalent theme, the fade happens without this effect.

For me, the raster maps are now great. Some are not available at high zooms (OSM Outdoor) so look really jaggy when expanded further to eg ZL16 @ 400% but others are available right up to high zooms.
They were completely unusable before, without using a fixed zoom on the device.
