ist ev. schlecht formuliert
also z.B.:
Track öffnen/Button Pfeil nach oben/Export/Export-Typ GPX  sonst nichts weiter angehakt
Exportordner wählen und Export bestätigen

Hallo Jürgen,
ich bin auch gespannt auf Michaels Hilfe, da ich nur Grundkenntnisse mit Geosetter  habe 
damit Du schon mal etwas weiter kommst, hab ich einen kurzen Track  und währenddessen 2 Bilder ohne Geoinformation jedoch mit Zeitstempel aufgenommen.
Packe am besten den aus Locus exportierten Track.gpx und die Bilder in einen Ordner
Starte Geosetter auf dem PC und öffne diesen Ordner. Die Bilder, noch ohne Koords werden dir angezeigt und rechts unten der Track, achte darauf dass dieser auch angehakt ist.
Da Bilder mehr sagen als viele Worte, hab ich einen kleinen Screencast erstellt,

Die gespeicherte .kmz kannst Du natürlich auch wieder mit Locus importieren und dort verwenden

zu Deiner Frage mit den "kryptischen Daten"
wenn Du  die exportierte gpx datei mit einem Editor z.B Notepad+ öffnest sieht das so aus und genau da bin ich auch gespannt auf Michaels Hilfe!

i start
"navigate to" from sidepanel
- set endpoint (with or without viapoint)
- store permanently is not checked
- select e.g. fast
track is created and navigation started

if locus is closed now, or i "guide to" another POI, the created track is cached and visible even after restart of locus, till i start a new "navigate to" or click "remove temp items"

btw, with possible viapoints text is not optimal

Do you have enabled "Show altitude" in labels settings? (settings > map - objects & styles > Points popup content)

"Altitude value" is checked

Dein Screenshot zeigt dass Du die falsche Projektion WGS  (x° x´x.x) gewählt hast!
Stelle bei jedem Punkt, Start, Viapunkt und Ende die Projektion auf WGS  (x° x.x)
Das wurde aber alles schon weiter oben erwähnt.
Lies bitte die Antworten aufmerksamer wir helfen gerne, aber irgendwann sind auch wir "am Ende" besonders bei den aktuellen Temperaturen

in ZL15 map covers in my example ~35x40 km
and not as discribed

Each packet covers area of approfimately 50×60 kms and contains maps of several zooms equivalent down to 1:25000

so next question is:
if i download 2 maps side by side
- do they touch at ZL10 and i have a gap at ZL 15?
or
- do they overlap at ZL 10 and touch at ZL15 ?

in previus versions < V3.9 user was able to upload his logg as fieldnote
in manual it is discribed

Store offline - stores geocache log for later online logging

with no limitation to PRO
so for me the current situation is not logical.
If FREE user is able to create a logg, he should be able to upload it, minimum as fieldlog
or if this is not desired, mark option "creat a logg" only available with PRO

So try to re-download your map with new 3.10.0 version, I believe it will work

confirm i was able now to continue this download
it takes 30 minutes, mapsize 88MB, ZL10-15

in discription you write about downloaded map scale 1:25000, but noting about zoomlevel
and so i´m i little bit disappointed to get maximum ZL15, i expected up ZL17 similar in onlinemap
