Ah understand. Suggest to give a try to "track editor": http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:editing#track_repairs .

Hello menion,

is this also possible for planned tracks or only for recorded tracks?
I have issues to make it work for planned tracks I want to edit.
Thank you in advance.

Regards

Hello menion,
the red and green stripes are added by myself to show which part of the route I want to be deleted (red) and where I want to be navigated instead (green).

Troubles & Questions / Modify track/route
May 26, 2018, 12:41:02
Hey folks,

I have a planned track and want to make a copy and modify it.
Can anybody tell me how I can delete the red marked track and navigate on the green instead?
Thank you very much in advance!

Greetings

Hello menion,

they are indeed saved tracks. I made a test navigation/recording today and got the same result.
It is saved in the saved tracks but no track duration and also the date is set wrong.

But it's irrelevant to me now, as I want to have some values on my dashboard and they are only available when I manually start the recording. In this way the tracks are also saved correctly with all the information and date.

Hello,

where are the locus default icons for the dashboards located?
I want to make a custom dashboard and would need to make them white instead of black.

Thank you very much in advance!

Edit:
I found them some in "\Locus\cache\images_int"
I had to add *.png extension to the files but now I can view them.
Is this the right folder, are those all icons, including all dashboard icons?

Hello menion,

I figured out that when I start a navigation to a point on the map (not a planned track) and start the recording manually, then the date and all the other data is displayed correctly.

Only when I want to start a navigation to a point on the map (not a planned track) and use the "Save" option in the navigation setup (see screenshot), then I have the date and track time issue.

I think I figured it out on my own! :D

You only have to start the navigation and then additionally enable the tracking.
After that the described values should be available.

Can somebody confirm this please or is there another way?

Hello,

I wanted to create my own dashboard with the following information which should be displayed when I start the navigation of a planned track:

Travelled distance from the start of the track/recording (not distance from origin, if I go back the distance is being reduced...)
Covered height meters from start of the track/recording (I think this is working)
Elapsed time from start of the track/recording (didn't find this)

Is this possible during navigation?

Also is it possible to show in the dashboard the total distance travelled with all recorded tracks?

Thank you very much in advance! :)

Yes it is changing.
I get the right date when I record a track without routing.
But when I set a destination and start the navigation, the afterwards recorded track has 01.01.1970 as track date. Also the track duration is not displayed.

Hello menion,

thank you for your quick response.
Yes, I can see the track but the date is wrong in the overview and the duration and date are empty in the detailed view.

Hello,

today I recorded my first track (starting from navigation) and unfortunately the track date is set to 01.01.1970.
Also the riding duration is empty. Does anybody know what is configured wrong to get such errors?

Also is it possible to add more than two live statistics on the navigation screen (points 3 and 4) or is this only possible through dashboards?
If it is only possible with the dashboards, how can I disable the locus default ones?

Thank you very much in advance! :)
