Troubles & Questions / Re: Mass Import
« on: May 15, 2018, 10:32:15 »
Hallo Hartmut,
Zip file must work.
Try it again with a _new_ zip file and import the tracks into a new, empty folder...

hth,
Christian

I use the built-in connection to Gpsies very often. When downloading a track within the Gpsies web service the source  URL of the track is stored within the track. After export (GPS v1.1 incl. descriptions) the track from Locus the URL is gone :(
@menion, can you _please_ ensure that no information is missed after proceeding within Locus?
(I remember that we discussed this some years ago...)

Thank you.
Regards,
Christian

Hi Menion, did you changed something on loading or rendering (vector-) maps? Since last update there is a lag in loading and re-rendering after zooming of maps :(

Hi guys,
I'm new to wearables but interested. Can someone please explain something to me?
: the clock must be connected to phone via bluetooth and uses the GPS of the phone? right?
: how many hours the battery of the phone (offlline mode, only GPS is on) and how many hours the battery of the clock will last? Any expierences here?
: is the clock able to "guidance" like on phone? is beeper supported?

Thank you. Any answer will be appreciated.

Troubles & Questions / Re: Set starting point
« on: April 20, 2018, 21:53:55 »
How it may work?
  • you tap on trackpoint
  • choose "Set as start point"
  • Locus check if it's round trip
  • - if is (distance between last and first trackpoint is less then let's say few metres), continue
  • - if isn't, display a warning if you want to connect end with start point
  • then app reorder all data in the track to correctly set new start point
  • save new track
  • and finally remove the old track from the database
Uff, long list of tasks :). But doable ...

Hi Menion, thank you for your answer and the link.
  • tap on trackpoint
  • Locus should offer the option "set as start point" only if the track is a roundrip. (Is there any flag in database for this purpose?)
  • reorder track
  • options "save as new track" and "overwrite existing track"
keep it simple and stupid ;)

Can not believe that there is still no possibility to set a new starting point? Found nothing about in the manual neither in Help Desk and Forum. Did i miss something?

Hth.
