Title: In what file waypoints are stored?
Post by: peterafonin on March 02, 2018, 16:19:14
Hello,

I wonder - in what file and folder the points are stored? I have two Android devices which I'd like to keep in sync. Of course I can use Backup/Restore or the KML files, but I'd like to keep my devices in sync through the Google Drive or Dropbox, using some synchronization apps like the FolderSync.

Thank you.

In Locus/data/dabase you'll find the tracks and waypoint *.db files.
A Cloud based brute for sync will only work if you have a clear master/slave scenario. One Locus generates and updates, the other simply and ONLY consumes and follows.
For the discussion of more complex mutual updates, there are discussions since ages ...
Cheers
Michael
