just an idea:
Locus offers some settings for track recording, which should be adjusted for most efficiency of Precision/accu/continuity....
What do you think about quick-settings for different profiles ?
Examples: (do not rely on this values - just MY thoughts)
if Profile CAR:
+ distance Intervall: 500 m
+ time intervall: 10 sec
+ max. precsision: 100m (don´t know what exactly this means)
+ only if movement: YES
+ GPS during pause: NO
+ TrackColor: RED
or Profile per Pedes:
+ distance Intervall: 25 m
+ time intervall: 60 sec
+ max. precsision: 250 m
+ only if movement: NO
+ GPS during pause: YES
+ TrackColor: GREEN
and so on..
With recommended values from you, but adjust- and storeable by user.
And above all: switchable by quicksettings.

yes you can. I have this feature still in my mind. To be true, it's on first place in my mind. But I cannot find solution how to simply implement this :). There is a little problem with settings all stuff in settings screen dynamically. Only solution for me is some next subscreen level in track recording settings screen, where you will be able to edit settings of single profile. I have to figure out by some way ... grrr ... this request gives me crazy and it looks so simply :)

Suggestion: 2 different modes to select:
* simple mode (with some profiles to select from a list, where YOU already enter some defaults which you know they are suitable. This can include more than track-recording items only.
Would be fine - ofcourse - to be able to add own profiles ;) -
* advanced mode: = leave the existing scrrens how they are, where user still have the opportunity to override this values in the detailscreens.
Advantage: if values would be overwritten by accident in advanced mode, a click on a "profile" turns back all settings to functional ones.
It sounds so easy, right ? :D ... good luck !
EDIT: simple mode = "Locus for dummies" :lol: :lol: :lol: I´m sure it is appreciated by lots of users (including me) :-)

Extremely nice. I missed this one. My favorites setting at a click away:) Kayak setting: 200m, condition "one". Bicycle setting: 20m, 3 secs, condition "both"
