Title: what is the difference between this forum and the Locus help desk
Post by: Andrew Heard on February 19, 2015, 07:56:58
I have only just come across this forum - http://forum.locusmap.eu.
Up until now I thought all discussion had been at http://help.locusmap.eu. That's where I had created all my topics.
They appear to serve the same purpose.
What is the difference?

This forum was create at start of Locus in 2010. Help desk is quite new service created at March 2014 and is main support channel for stuff around Locus.

And
- deeper discussions, testing of Beta features and some other stuff, like sharing experiences between users is done here on forum
- all basic support, questions, voting for ideas should be done on Help desk. So generally, if you wants to improve Locus with voting for interesting ideas or has any problems or questions, use Help desk and forget on forum :).
